Jenna’s journey into fitness started when she became completely frustrated with every aspect of her life. She was unhappy with her job, her body and her bad habits. She decided that she was going to try jogging and eating healthy to try and turn things around. She did exactly that.
She fell in love with fitness; not only successfully losing the weight she wanted, but finding solitude and peace while at the same time, taking care of herself. Exercise and training turned out to be the emotional place where she could truly be herself. From that point onward, it was “Jenna vs. the world”.
Jenna recently graduated and received her licence for practical nursing. Nursing has played a huge role in her fitness lifestyle. She is extremely passionate about both and has found that the two careers feed off of each other. The more she learns about the human body, the more curious she becomes and explores it with her own life.
On October 4th, 2014, Jenna competed in her first bikini competition and fell in love with it. She discovered a passion for the training and eating clean. “When you treat your body exactly right it can do amazing things and functions at its maximum potential. It’s truly a beautiful feeling.”
Jenna will be commencing prep in January of 2015 to compete in a few shows in May. After that it will be time to take a year off and simply build muscle. “One of the reasons I love body building is because it takes many years to build a physique. It becomes a lifestyle: a commitment to yourself.”
