Haters

By  |

No matter who you are, I’m sure you have someone out there hatin’; someone “cramping your style”.  What’s funny is, Haters want to hate but then turn around and clone your style.  Most Haters are stuck in a poisonous mental prison of jealously and self-doubt that blinds them to their own potentiality.  You want what I have?  Then train harder than me, diet harder than me, work harder than me or put in more hours than me!

This doesn’t just apply to your life in the gym, however, it can apply to all aspects of life.  Remember, there is always someone watching and wanting what you have.  Life is too short to waste any amount of time on Haters and their negative minds.  If Haters had something productive to do with their own lives, they wouldn’t have the time to sit around and talk poorly about you in the first place.  Whatever happened to congratulating people on being happy for their success?

So do not destroy yourself by allowing negative people to add gibberish and debris to your character, reputation and aspirations.  Stay positive, keep your head high and all your dreams alive.  Eventually those with unhealthy tongues won’t have any other option but to infest themselves with their own diseases.

Everything and I repeat EVERYTHING comes back full circle.  It’s that little thing called karma.  If people are trying to bring you down that only means you are above them in their eyes; you have or are something that they aspire to.  You have to always remember that Haters want to bring you down because you have something that they want and they are too lazy to work for it themselves.

Insert social media into this topic and we have a whole other world.  In the day and age of being constant connected via our smart phones the Haters can easily become our energy vampires.  We are constantly smacked in the faces with the status updates, the rants and the raves.  Use social media to your advantage for staying on track and accountable to your dreams and goals but know this is an open platform for Haters to prey.  Social media can easily become a feeding frenzy for the Haters to interject their disdain for your positivity.

If you find yourself feeling the negativity of social media, I invite you to take a break; unplug for a few days and share your dreams, goals, and presence with people face to face!
